Professional Bio
Allen S. Ho, MD is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained Head and Neck cancer surgeon. Dr. Ho is trained in the medical and surgical management of all apects of otolaryngology.

Expertise
He specializes in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant head and neck tumors, as well as parathyroid and thyroid disease. He maintains expertise in robotic, endoscopic, and minimally invasive operative techniques. He promotes a multidisciplinary approach that offers patients the greatest possible outcomes while preserving meaningful quality of life.

Education
Dr. Ho graduated magna cum laude in Neurobiology from Harvard University with Highest Honors in the Field. He received his M.D. degree at the UCLA School of Medicine and completed both his surgical internship and otolaryngology residency at Stanford University.

He concurrently finished a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Ho subsequently completed a 2.5-year head and neck surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Ho has presented at numerous national and international meetings, including at AACR, ASCO, AHNS, AAOHNS, and ATA. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Genetics, Cancer Cell, Cancer, Thyroid, and Head & Neck, and authored multiple chapters in textbooks that include Cummings Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Ho is an active member of the American Association of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society, and the American Thyroid Association. He serves on the national level as a part of the AAO-HNS Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology Committee and the AAO-HNS Medical Informatics Committee.
